Letter Requests
Effective immediately, a collector can submit three requests per week for a letter of authenticity. I am working to have all request forms updated (it has been updated on the S&WHF website).
For the last twelve months, collectors were limited to one request per week.

Any way to find out status on a letter request made last July? Check cashed in July also.
Thanks

Where is the request form located and what information is needed other than the model and SN in order to get a letter? I'm planning on getting letters for my M57, M58 and M27-2.

Hair Trigger...Click on Downloads near the top of the screen and then on S&WCA File Download. Scroll down to find the letter of authenticity request form PDF.
James K...Roy is currently working on requests received in July. I am sure your letter will be in the mail shortly.

Send as much information as possible. Use a blank sheet if you need, include pictures. The more information the better. You can email pictures to me a [email protected].

Wish I'd seen this earlier this morning. I've got my three forms filled out and there's more details written on the back of the forms. I also printed quite a few color pictures that are included, done on regular paper. I think they will be good enough detail for purposes of the letters, but I can still email them if you want it that way. The pictures include rt/lt profile, inside the yoke cut, both sides of the butt frame on all three, plus box and label on the M58, numbered stamp on the M58 stocks; Presentation case and papers on the M27-2. The butt frame images are all done at a slight angle, to best see the stamps, and the SN on the bottom is also visible. Package goes in the mail Monday, 2/6.

Dear Hair
It sounds like you gave enough information. Putting information on the back of the form is perfectly fine. The more information, the merrier!

I must have mailed my request to the wrong address. I've been waiting since July 2022 and my check was cashed same month.
