You never really appreciate something until you don"t have it. I make this statement because I have been coming to this site for a couple years and the wealth of historical information and the member assistance is beyond amazing. If you are reading this and haven't joined the S&W Historical foundation yet then read on and see what it's like to not have it.
I recently came into possesion of a Savage Super Sporter rifle made in the Thirties. I of course started to look for more info into the early years of Savage and specifically of my firearm. I could only find general info through articles, but nothing like shipping dates or part numbers. Very frustrating
So, my point is thank Goodness that we have this great Historical Foundation that keeps expanding databases and keeps our history alive. Also thankful for the S&W Collectors Association as a standard bearer for our collectors.
Join one or both......Thanks for listening!
