Smith & Wesson Fixed Blade Help Requested
Enclosed are photos of a Smith & Wesson 150th Aniversary fixed blade knife that I have in my collection. Does anyone know who actually produced these knives for Smith & Wesson? Any help would be appreciated.

I have a 150th Anniversary folding knife, it came in a black & white tin with the same design on the lid as yours. On the side of the tin is Taylor Cutlerly.
Check this thread out, same knife with a different handle material... Taylor is mentioned: S&W 150 Anniversary Belt Knife
Taylor also makes the current line of S&W knives.

I have the same 150th Anniversary knife, mine has "Seki Japan" on the blade, and is of very high quality. Seki is the knife making center of Japan, I don't know the actual shop that made them.

Taylor's S&W knives are made in China, Japan, USA, etc. Examples made overseas are usually marked with the country of origin. Quality can be all over the board, however Taylor has taken steps to improve the quality. Switching to Japan was one of them. Ed.

The link posted goes to a picture of mine. It's the same handle material, just dyed S&W blue (they came both ways).
