Anybody Ever Seen One of These?
As near as I can remember, a LGS had these out on a clearance table with a low price on them ($1?). Couldn't pass it up - heck it had the S&W logo on it - how cool is that?
OK, what is it? I'm thinking this may have been some kind of promotion and this, originally, came with three or four boxes of shotgun ammo - this was in the mid-70's when S&W sold shotguns.
Just wondered if anybody else had ever seen one of these?
Adios,
Pizza Bob

Originally sold by S&W back in the 70s & 80s with 4 boxes of shotgun shells contained inside. You could sit on them in a duck blind, plus the shells would stay dry. Ed

Don, Bless you my son, The ones in white were a special run intended for Polar Bear hunters only. Thought you would like to know. Ed.

The biggest reason the white ones are so rare is because birdshot has a tendency to irritate polar bears, causing most of the boxes to remain in the arctic waiting for global warming to uncover them.

PizzaBob, In Polar Bear country it tends to be very cold and everything shrinks. Haven't you ever noticed shrinkage of appendages after a cold shower? Ed.
