S & W, soft, grooved N Frame grip adapters
Were these ever produced?

Yes, there used to be available plastic (or hard rubber) grip adapters featuring the S&W logo. They're otherwise identical to, and likely produced by, Pachmayr's similar product.

There were several sale tables at the May S&WCA Symposium in Columbus, Ohio, that had this type grip adapters for sale. They came in 3 sizes, for J,K and N frames. The original boxes are small white cardboard and stamped "Small, medium and Large" They are, as said above, identical to Pachmayrs except they have the S&W logo on them. Ed.
