I have a matched set of Sterling silver belt buckles from 1977 was wondering the value of the first is the 125 years belt buckle with pictures of what I am assuming are Smith and Wesson. The second is titled The Last cartridge. both are Sterling silver have a manufacturing date of 1977 in original packaging and both are serial numbers 63. Plus I have a copy of a letter the Smith and Wesson corporate office to sales reps explaining the belt buckles can any one help me thank you

Welcome to the Forum. These buckles were offered in several finishes and the top of the line being the sterling silver versions. The are in all the S&W accessory catalogs for the period of the late 70s to the mid 80s. +The 125 yr. buckle came out in 1977, however the Last Cartridge was 1978 and should be so dated on the back side. See book " Some of the Buckles of S&W" by Pete Roberts, for background on design and which engraver at S&W did the buckles. Ebay sales of these sterling buckles, complete with boxes and papers, run around $175 - $225. each. Ed.
