Default S&W Pin

I happen across this listed on eBay, described as a Smith & Wesson jewelry pin, possibly from the 1930's. I contacted the seller who thinks it's Smith & Wesson because it has a "S&W" mark, also that it might be rare because they could not find any reference to it on the web. One of the most misidentified items I have seen on eBay!

Ed,

It does not have enough "character" i.e. rust to be in my displays.

Bruce

Bruce, No problem, just send it to me. I have a secret formulae ( it reqires my dog to drink a lot of water first ) for applying rust to S&Ws. You will be happy with the "character." No charge. Ed

Slade and Wolfe jewelry had a maker’s mark “S&W.” English company, I believe.

Yes, Slade & Wolfe was an older English jewelry company that closed in the 80s. Their items are top quality. Ed
