Default S&W Presentation Case I identified the case!

The 3rd edition of the S&W Standard Catalog describes the various generations of Presentation cases see my post below. My case is a 1969-74. Styrafoam bottominsert, Molded to the length of the gun with a foam rubber top insert.

About 10 years ago I purchased a 4 in Model 29 from a guy and he threw in this box. It is pretty apparent that it's not for the Model 29, but the pictures I have attached show my Model 25 6 in fits perfectly. I've tried to learn about the various presentation case Generations but I can't seem to find when this particular case was offered. I suspect it's from the time when the Model 29 was very popular around the time when Dirty Harry movies (c 1971)were released. Is there a forum resource that shows the evolution of the presentation cases and what Generations went with what guns. The cases as you can see a dovetail Style. It's in pretty good shape but with a few bruises here and there on the top and sides. The bottom has a scratch that pretty much disappears from most angles but is Apparent from one angle which I have shown in the pictures. What would this box sell for. Thanks for looking at this

Default New information

The 3rd addition of the Standard Catalog of Smith & Wesson has a paragraph on modern Wooden Presentation Boxes. I recently moved and couldn't find this book but I got lucky this morning and it has the info I needed. Here are more pictures
