Stocking Dealer Binder
Picked one of these up recently. I have never seen one, and for those of you that haven't, and are interested, thought I would share some things about it.
It's a three ring binder full of documents, organized by the following sections:
1) Catalogs. This one has the 1993 Handguns catalog, a Law Enforcement catalog and a beautiful engraving brochure. Plus a price list.
2) Revolvers. Has model listings, by frame size and then by engineering change or dash number. The new product information sheets for the 629 Mountain Gun and the K-Comp.
3) Pistols. Again a list of models and engineering changes. New product sheets for the .356 TSW, 411, 915 and 5906 Special Edition.
4) Pricelists. Three or four pricelists of handguns and various accessories and parts.
5) Programs. Information about stocking dealer programs.
6) Promotions. A letter about promotions for the year.
7) Merchandising. A literature order form.
8) Line art. A line art and specifications book of about 56 pages, some additional loose sheets of items not included in the book (I assume) and copy from some radio spots.
9) On The Line. a 4 page newsletter from Fall 1992.
10) Miscellaneous. Phone numbers for dealer help, a distributor directory, a page about handcuffs, and 2 pages of serial number ranges (!).
Thought it was interesting. Too much to share all, but if you have questions or want to see a pic of something in particular. let me know.

Does it have the "decoder wheel" for dealers so they could keep up with all the number variations?

Could you possibly scan and post the info on the Mountain Gun?
Thanks, Abbynormal

Wow, I suspect when you mention the 5906 "special edition" pissibly you mean the 108255 product code, 5906 with the crazy ugly fake wood grain Delrin grip...? I have one! But it was LE trade-in, so when I got it, it was wearing an awful, gooey, dry-rotted old Hogue that I literally had to chip and peel off in pieces.
