Default Letter from factory 1927

Thought this was kind of a neat set from fleabay.

A letter signed by Roper, on the front of a folder advertising the 22/32. A price list from 1925 and a 1926 pocket catalog.

And the whole package cost 4 cents to mail.

The letter is proof than ammo was expensive even back then, before the Great Depression. I wonder what a box of the "new" .22 LR was in 1927?

I saw that 4 cent stamp right away. Not surprising, but fascinating.
I need to show this letter to my wife; especially the part about shooting in the basement!
