916A shotgun
Looking for info on S&W 916a shotgun.
Were they made before the 3000?
Looks like they were made in USA. Were they made by S&W or were they made for S&W by another manufacturer?
Anyone have an opinion on their quality?

They were made by Smith & Wesson. They bought Noble in Northampton MA. The shotguns and rifles of later production were made in Sweden and then Japan.
