916T 20 ga. info & value please

A late close friend's widow has asked me about his 20 ga S & W model 916T with 28", vent rib, full choke barrel. It appears in very good condition with light colored wood. I thought about looking for a short(18") barrel to make a house gun for her but no luck finding one. Probably sell it for her.
Can't find any pricing or value on the usual sites for 20 ga.
Can anyone help me? Thanks.

IfI had it on my table at a gun show, I'd put about $250 on it and take the best offer. An extra 20 ga barrel for the 916T is not real common, however Numrich, Jack First, eBay, Gunbroker, etc. will occasionally have them. A longer 20 ga barrel can be cut down, of course. Ed.
 
When my Dept had them in the 70’s (12 ga) there were so many problems with them that S&W took them back at $75 credit for each and they were replaced with Remington 870’s.
