Charging handle
I know this has been beat to death but what happened to the Taticool handles? Looked on their website but none show up. Is anyone else making metal ones, ones that can actually be had?

I'm sure tacticool can answer for himself... As far as other aluminium charging handles that can be had (at least in the US)

There is always the Doomsd......oh no wait.
The South African made, (probably hard to source) MST 15-22
[NEW IN] MST15-22 Charging Handle for S&W 15-22 Rifles is the most 'beefed' up charging handle and has positive reviews.
The NDZ with optional engravings.
I personally run the PT handle with oversized latch...it functions perfectly for use with a scope.
Would look to the MST 15-22 for my upgrade, if i ever saw the need.
I look forward to hearing what T22 has in store, as he seems to be the only reliable independent 15-22 'modder'.
Happy hunting

Being that it is made in South Africa...by South Africans, they are hard to get, unless like me you are married to a saffa. lol.
I'm not sure on the export law into the USA, you may be stung by your own ITAR. Easily sent to UK..but if i do end up getting one i'll just get my pa-in-law to get one and mail it to me. That being said.....I'm not even sure if they are still in production but here is the official web page.

I have had a Doomsday Handle or two of late, both that worked as advertised from the get go, but with everything that has been happening recently and then with 2 sets of pins that don't fit, I have let them go.
I am not a lefty so it really made no difference to actual usage, was more from a "OOOOOH that looks good, so I want one" point of view.
Any way since passing mine on I have reverted to the former, which in my case was a Tacticool 22 Handle with an NDZ Latch, have to say this has been a fantastic combo from the get go.
Never failed, never snagged and not even a mark on the underside after copious amounts of rounds through the system.
Have had the PT handle but didn't like the "feel" of the handle, the Latch was great just didn't like the handle so passed it on also.
I, like Ghostmutt married a SAFFA, so in theory, could get one sent to the UK and I likely will at some point soon, again just because.....
However at this time Tacticool is my handle of choice, even though he has kept me hanging with the "Ambi" that's in the pipe....
Choose wisely and it will work out in the end, just how you want it to.
Shoot safe and lots... when you can find the ammo
Rob

The MST charging handle IP has been purchased by another user who said they will be producing more. I'll see if I can track down who it was, but they will probably be retailing through Tactical Quatermaster.
It is a seriously well built piece of kit and it is vastly better than the standard handle.

Guess what gents...
Tactical Quartermaster is now wholly the owner of this product, they now own the intellectual property to this proprietary design.
I am very proud to see TacQM taking this project, giving it wings and adding it to their already impressive selection of products.

Maybe look over their website.

Hahaha I grabbed the last 4/5, you must have grabbed that last one.
Not gonna lie. Super awesome piece of hardware. Everything you want out of an ambi handle.
Don't waste your time with doomsday. Search for some of the doomsday threads in here. You'll be happy you stayed away. Terribly unreliable manufacturing and absolutely zero customer service.
A couple people had to get their refunds directly from pay-pal he wouldn't even respond to our emails.
If you can find an MST either original or like the post above said from that new owner. I'd go for it in a heartbeat.

Shipping will be calculated at check out. Cost depends on where in the world you live and what service you select.

The only aftermarket ones available for the 15-22, currently are the Tacticool 22 one......the Plinker Tactical, the NDZ performance, the MST or the other one that i will not mention. For ease of acquisition the Tacticool or NDZ or Plinker Tactical the MST unless it has been expanded is South African and probably difficult to import to the US.
NDZ do custom engraving and is 15-22 orientated.
Tacticool has great 15-22 specific products.
I run the Plinker Tactical and have no issues.

GhostMutt covered that pretty well.
No, it will not and can not fit, no matter what you do.
Ours should be available in November.

Tac QM just posted another add saying they have a bunch of the MST handles in stock. Shipping to USA shouldn't be an issue, but may take a while. Email them and ask.
