well i have been looking at the 15-22's for a month or so. I really wanted the newer model with the flash hider on the barrel. I went in the local gun store to pick up a part that i had ordered . the manager (who knew i was looking for one) said that he had a deal for me. it was the plain barrel model that he sold the guy only kept it a week then traded it in because his friend had a colt 22 and he wanted one too. the gun, 7 25 rd. mags , and a foregrip/bipod combo for $519 . i layed it away , they have been selling the guns for 480 new and the mags for 25 ea. I cant wait to shoot it.

I can't believe your friend went for the Colt.

I had a Colt M4 OPS .22 before my 15-22 and could not wait to get rid of it.

Yeah.... I did a little reading on the WalUmaColt before I picked up the 15-22. It sure is a looker.... and so is the their new H&K. I guess it's probably designed like their Colt though.

Yeah, I shoulda done some research on the Colt before buying. It was love (or was that lust) at first sight. Found out too many bad things about it after the "marriage".
