It's a forum, it happens on every busy forum.
Sorry not trying to offend you, but, get used to it...
I did, years ago.... It's like trying to get people to use punctuation, grammar and correct spelling.
Some battles just can't be won!

Yup pretty simple don't like the post don't read it. Also not trying to offend you. I remember long time ago doing the same thing. If you feel like answering do it if not don't. It does make a newbie feel unwelcome with a post like this. Not that it is a bad one. Patience is the key.

How does the saying go,
Some people have something to say,and some people just have to say something
Well i just put my foot in my mouth, for i remeber being new once and doing the same and all you guys made me feel welcome
To all new members welcome and pay no attention to the jacka** in the corner(me)

I think once the malfunctions start to decrease, things won't be as bad.

while i am new here, not new to forums though. my thought on this is (no harm intended either because i understand the initial frustration) that posting on the same subject rather than just searching on others is that it brings out new opinions from people who may not have seen/posted on the original post. also there may be new info or new thoughts that were not posted in the previous thread.
just a thought..

Yeah, and, honestly, I don't know which is more aggravating, the repetitive questions or the "search noob" nazis.

Yes, once people learn to load the magazines properly with the proper ammo, things will get better

Sorry to hear about your mom, hope things work out.
Things like that seem to bring to light how meaningless some worldly pursuits really are.

I think Brett and a couple other folks are helping that effort with the -How To- vids and Sticky notes for easier locating by new Forum members.
As far as accessores.... let's not be too critical of new folks to the Forum and firearms asking repeat questions. In just a mere two threads, Pics and Accessories, there's a mind-blowing 150,000+ views!! There's a bazillion+1 different gadgets in every shape, size and color for the 15-22's whopping 4 feet of 'railestate'. That's what keeps this forum hopping. I find it interesting even if a bit repeat. Whether one finds that 'old' or not is for Forum members to decide each day, right?
A bit off topic... but I am surprised that the operators/owners of this forum don't help try to satisfy the insatiable accessory appetite here via advertisers or an in-house store. The dollars spent on accessories for these rifles has got to be staggering.

Same here!
I don't know what is worse, having to watch someone pass, or like what happened to me, and come home from work and find your Dad on the couch passed away, the world pretty much stopped rotation that day, April 24th 2009 at the age of 63.
So I know what it's like Springfield and prayers for you friend!

my families prayers will be with you and yours.
i agree to you with a point though, people should come in seeking answers like i did and read through the posts. the more you read the more you learn. sometimes its better to help yourself then to come on here crying for help and getting the "read the post below this one" answer.

I too get frustrated at seeing 20 posts of the same thing. But I just decided not to let it get to me because I can't change it. On other forums I frequent it's no different. I'm a car guy too, and on the one car forum I go to, if we haven't had 2000 posts about how to install HID lights, we haven't had any... It's the same thing every day, people will post "How do I install HID lights" and there's a post right below theirs with the same topic...
I've never been a member of the "Use the search feature" camp. I just don't respond...

its nice to see another springer fan, i have a loaded 1911 (black SS combat) and a xdm 9mm love both. I got to shoot a TRP last weekend, by far the nicest handgun i have even had the privilege to shoot
FYI- Springfield Armory officially announced a .45acp XDm
PS-My prayers are with you and you mother

yesterday i rented an XDm and a Glock 17. i liked the XDm so much better than the Glock. XDm felt good in my hand and i shot it well. Glock just didn't feel right to me.

I have a few hundred rounds through an XD9 and maybe 50 rounds through the XD-M 9mm Both are fantastic firearms! I love my Beretta, but if I were to pick up another pistol right now it would be one of the XD series.
