Thumbs up My 1000rd Report

I just passed the 1000rd mark with my new 15-22, and have almost total satisfaction to report.
Mine is the Z series, and I have only had 1 FTE. Pretty amazing.
It is a fun gun to shoot. Only a couple of complaints.
The loose buttstock drives me nuts, and I still have the OOB thing going on in my mind when shooting. Kinda like playing Russian Roulette, waiting for the bang. lol
In all, I'm happy with the purchase. Even ordered 3 more mags.

I've stopped counting rounds on mine. Over 1000 to be sure. When I finish off this case I'll know I'm at about the 3500 point.

Despite the barrel of any .22LR rarely needing cleaning of any kind I do clean the chamber thoroughly every time. Incomplete chambering is the reason for out of battery firing. I aggressively polished mine.

My low round count recently has been the result of range cleanup. Hard to find many shotgun hulls to chase and paper targets are completely boring and not worth the drive!

Except for using a box of Stingers, all my ammo has been Federal Value Pack. There are a few dud rounds with the Federal, but feeds and shoots great.
