Default M&P 15-22 MOE
Just wanted to take a minute to say thanks to all of you active members of this forum. I have been lurking the forum for a few months trying to decide if I wanted to join the MP 15-22 owners club. All of your posted information really helped me make an informed purchase. I was t the West Palm Beach Gun show yesterday and picked up the M&P 15-22 MOE. Paid $525.00. It did come with one of the new mags. I also picked up an extra mag for $20.99 (new version) and about 300 rounds off CCI.

There were 2 vendors at the show that had the MOE versions. As I was walking through the show I was stopped a few times from people asking me where I picked up the rifle and was told the 15-22's are great rifles.

Needless to say I can't wait to take it to the range. I will be heading out this morning and will come back to this thread with a range report and maybe a few pics.

I had a chance to get this rifle out to the range this weekend. Shot about 200 rounds with no FTE or FTF's. I used Remington Vipers and Federal Bulk. I zeroed the scope at 25 yards just to gt on paper and have a bit of fun. This weekend I will go to Markham Park and see what this rifle can do at 50 and 100 yards.

Swamper1, if you are not in love with the 15/22 you will be. have had mine to the range 3 times. have had only 2 dnf's, no jams or stovepipes. and thats using cheap ammo. the little fun gun is accurate out to 75 yds, and i plan to sight in at 100 next trip to the range. have probably fired 700-1,000 so far.

being that the MOE version is a newer one. would it have all the updated stuff like the blue spring and mag.

I am looking at buying a MOE version. Where is the blue spring at and what does it do better?

The MOE comes with the blue spring and the new style mags. Here is a better picture.

Thanks Swamper! Not to be a bother, but what is the differences in the old and new magazine style. I will be putting money down on a MOE version Monday and want to make sure I am getting the newest items. Thanks again.

Late magazines have ".22LR, 25 rounds" (or words to that effect) on them. Earlier only the caliber

i was reading on the magpul's web sight and it was saying that the rear sight is dual aperture. anyone know what makes it a dual.

Just flip the 1st aperture down to expose the bigger aperture hole.
