Normally I'd say the stuff is great, maybe even better than federal bulk. My .22's love the stuff. However, I recently purchased a bad batch. Read my experience here:
Anyone use CCI Blazer .22LR recently
If you plan on buying multiple boxes, buy one box first and open it up. If it looks good buy more of the same lot number.

I haven't tried it with my 15-22, but it is the ONLY ammo that my daughter's Sig Mosquito will shoot reliably. I plan on grabbing a box this week to feed the 15-22.

Picked up 1,050 rounds at Dick's this weekend. On sale for $18 for 525.
Put 1 box through my 4 day old AR15.22 last night. Only 1 FTF.
This past Saturday I put around 650 rounds of the Remington bulk through her and had a FTF on virtually every clip.
So far pleased with the Blazer bulk. Also picked up 1,050 rounds of the Federal bulk. Haven't used any though. Definitely staying away from the Remington bulks.

Since Oct of 2011 I have run approx 30,000 Blazer LRN's in 525 bulk pack with no problems. I just received a new lot of 10 boxes from Palemtto State and they all have this waxy gunk on them just like Vagrant detailed. They were difficult to load in the mags and were causing failure to feed issues. I am on my way to UPS to return them to CCI which they have said they will replace plus more to cover my cost to return them. I have never been able to find them locally (Southern New Hampshire) so I buy them from Palmetto who usually have the best price.

Haven't used it in any of my rifles yet, but my S&W mod# 2206 does well with it......No failures.
I don't see any bulk around here just the 100 round packages.
I'm waiting for reviews on the "new and improved" Remington Goldies.

I don't buy the blazer 525 bulk packs as it is cheaper to buy the brick of 500 rounds ($17.50 regular price) locally. It is even cheaper to buy them at Dicks, when they are on sale, in the 50 packs (last sale i saw was 1.69 for 50 or $17.99 for 525). That said I have had no issues and all my 22s function perfectly with them. I have not had any with the over wax like an earlier post mentioned.

Just speculation on the wax build-up issues mentioned a few posts back, but several weeks ago during a mid-day 100 degree shoot (with no shade) I had CCI mini-mag and M22 ammo that the wax melted off of before I could get it loaded into a magazine. I could dump them out on my black (hot) tailgate liner of my truck and before I could even get a few rounds loaded, there was a moist puddle developing under my ammo. Maybe during the overly hot summer the country has had this year some ammo has been left on shipping trucks, etc. in high-heat conditions and the wax has melted off some bullets and deposited on others? The wax is there for a reason, you just usually don't realize it's there.
Just speculation. I wouldn't let this black-list all CCI Blazer ammo.

Blazer
I bought a case of 45 ACP from SG ammo for $289. It is full power ammo and shoots great. Glock uses Blazer to test fire all it's guns. I like it when I don't reload.

Blazer works better than anything else I've tried in my 15-22. CCI rules.

I have run the first box of Blazer bulk thorugh last night and had no issue at all. Did find one or two rounds that had the wax build up but there were only a few.
No issues at all, used 10 round and 25 round mags and the entire box worked well. Will add extra boxes to my next order.
Try a box first but I think you will like what you see.
Moving on to Winchester M-22 box next time I am at the range to try something different

initially i stayed away from them because i assumed the lead was dirtier. after being corrected by a few members on here, i put them in the same boat as the federal bulk i normally shoot.

Now that you mention it, Vagrant. I'm going by memory but I remember Blazers being right up that with Federals. But on my last outing the waxy bulk pack were all over the place. I don't usually keep targets but as I mentioned in a different thread I have way too many varieties of and need to figure which firearm like which ammo. I have 2 pics, one of a target using a CZ-75 with a 22 Kadet at 10 yds showing Blazers, Fed 525 and Fed 375. Next range visit I will save my 50 yd targets for comparison. The other is my fun/reactive target at 50 yds. Shooting paper holes gets boring after awhile. I use the targets up top to determine where a particular ammo is shooting so I can make adjustments.

Just one shooter's opinion.
It's essentially the same ammo as Federal Champion, except for the difference in bullets. Both are made by ATK (as is CCI).

The "wax issue" isn't an issue if one doesn't let the ammo sit out in the hot sun for a long time or sits in a hot truck. The wax is an anti-leading coating and wax melts sitting in the heat. Simple physics.

I had TERRIBLE luck with the bulk stuff. We realized they were covered in a sticky substance when inspecting all the failure to feed and fires. And I went straight from sportsmans to the range. Glad to see it wasn't just me being crazy. Bout a month ago I had the package with smaller boxes in it and ran great, but these wouldn't run in my 15-22, 597, or mosquito. I know sig suggests mini-mags, I just wanted to try. But the experience really turned me away from them. Out of a 25 rd mag, on average 8 fed, shot, and ejected as they were supposed to

dont know about the 597 but everything ive read says the mosquito is picky. the 15-22 not so much but each gun is different so find what works best for you. however, i wouldnt discount the blazers as junk seeing as there are so many people who run it without issue.

You are correct, it's my experience that the mosquito is extremely picky, but it's not fully broke in yet. I wasn't bashing blazer in general, I just happened to get a bad box of the bulk stuff. All 3 mentioned .22's ran great with the previous few boxes I had that came with smaller boxes inside(500 pk I think?). I loaded all three with the previous boxes and couldn't tell the difference from those to the cci tacticals I prefer to run. Accuracy aside, as I wasn't testing that, but as far as reliability I couldn't tell the difference. Just hopefully it's not a reoccurring problem, cuz they're a decent price.

It's reassuring to know that I'm not the only one with the wax issue. It definitely sounds like it has more to do with the summer heat rather than poor quality control. I've emailed Blazer and they told me to send my affected boxes back. Hopefully this issue doesn't turn anyone away from this ammo since it is normally really good.

on a similar note, i just swapped over about 400 rds of cci tactical from one paintball pod to another. i found lots of small bits of white wax at the bottom so its not just blazer.

I was at Sportsmans Warehouse yesterday and saw a 50ct box of CCI Pistol Match, so I bought it with the intention of comparing accuracy against Blazer. Took it to the range today and to my surprise, I was far more accurate with the Blazer than with the Match. I should mention it was through my Sig Sauer 1911-22, not my 15-22. The match was more quiet and less recoil, but not as accurate... I was surprised.
