I'm going to try some liquid paper correcting fluid from a pen type dispenser tonight. Someone else used a silver sharpie, turned out well.

Heard a great one the other day at the range that had me blowing coffee bubbles:

"Boys and toys!. When you were kids you wanted your toy guns to look real. Now your grow'd up and wanna' make your real guns look like toys. Just run a HotWheels track down the top rail and shove a pinwheel in the muzzle why dontcha."

Oh no he di-unt!
I see a presentation in his future - one with actual pinwheels and Hotwheels.

i used liquid paper white out pen just cuz it was laying on the floor when i was examining my gun and it worked well just used excess and then took a cotton cloth with a little gun cleaner on it and whipped away the excess. probably not the best way but it definitely works.

About 40 years ago I purchased a kit from Brownell's to do gold inlay(?) on guns. It was a several step process. There are still considerable traces of the gold on the guns I did.
I think I saw the kit the other day while looking for something. Probably won't still be any good but I might find it and try.
