Default What's your favorite 15-22 sling setup?

I recently bought a 15-22 (CA compliant version ) a few months ago and I absolutely love it. Whenever my friends and I go to the range we end up hurrying through our pistol ammo so's we can play with the 15-22.

I'm starting to buy accessories and was wondering:
How have you mounted slings on to your rifles?
Should I worry about the polymer being damaged by steel sling mounts?
Since the buffer tube is polymer molded to the receiver, is there a way to mount an attachment point for a single point sling or is two-point the only option?

Sorry for all the questions.
Would love to hear any advice or experiences from ya'll.

Thanks for your time,
Brass

I picked up a rail mounted sling adapter today along with a VTAC sling. So far, I'm really liking it.

I haven't seen a single point adapter for the 15-22 yet. Give a good 2-point a try, I find it much more usable than a single.

Little Bro turned me on to the "mamba" slings he used in the "sandbox" and i have quite enjoyed them on both of my ar platforms.
I have found slings to be quite personal and therefore have a drawer full. My advice is to get a general idea of what you want it to do (i.e.walking,atv riding ect.) The way you want to carry. (i.e.low ready, back, shoulder ect.)then try some friends.
Then make an informed decision. Still might have a couple in the drawer by the time you find what you prefer.

Best of luck
