Hi, my name is Tom. Been lurking for a while picking up some great info and ideas from this site. I bought the 15-22 for my sons 12th birthday present a few months ago hoping to get him intrested into target shooting.He loves this gun ! I had taken him out a few times while I shot my AR 15 but between the noise and the kick it just didn't intrest him at all. But since his birthday we have a new common intrest.
This gun will be a good trainer for him. Once he grows up he probably will take your AR away from you, Ha Ha. Also it is a lot cheaper to feed than the AR !!! HAPPY SHOOTING and Welcome.
Bulldozer8t, I figure I got at least 2 years before he trys to take over the AR 15 but at least 4 years be for he trys the AR 10. Just took the new 15-22 pistol out for the first time. Holly *****, what a blast! I got to look into SBR'er this thing with a folding stock.
