dude.. 95 bucks a box. na not for me. The 20 buck, stuff is ok for now. gona have to try those CCI mini mags out ,they are not to pricey. I want some of the stratigic ammo ) .. I love my gun. I dont care if it will not shoot a 1 in group at 50 yards. do i want it to, yes. does it half to, no. although I am sure it will. Hell maybe i farted when i pulled the triger. It look's good. It shoots good. besides mine came with match grade bullets lol..

The $95/box for CCI AR Tactical 22 at Cabelas is for 1500 rounds (plus a free dry box), which is 6.3¢ per round.

Cabelas also sells 2100 rounds of Federal Bulk 36gr blue box (plus the free dry box) for $76, which is 3.6¢ per round.

Here is a pic of nine different cartridges I test fired last weekend from 25yds, from the bench with about 0.5-1.0 seconds between shots in 38F cold, using the Vortex Sparc (w/ 2x magnifier). For me, the Federal Bulk (blue box - middle row, far right) does nearly the same for me as the CCI AR Tactical 22 (top row, center). I really like the PMC Sidewinder 40gr solid nose (lead). Those Birchwood Casey targets measure 3" across and 5 rounds were fired at each target.

All things being equal, Dunns Sporting Goods has a way better price on ammo. CCI Blazer or Fed 745 is 16.00 plus tax. That's only 3.1 cents a round.

this is a lot better. more and a dry box.. those CCI velocitor did good and reall not bad for most. CCI tack did good.. hmmm. i guess im gona have to just get my scope mounted and buy a bunch of differant stuff to see. I have had my gun fo a month now and only shot winchester 555 box through it.th only trouble i had was 1 jam. it looked like the bullet came out of the brass on one of the shells. I did go buy a box of federal bulk, but have not shot them yet. Been working to much ) lol getting a tun of OT so i can buy more stuff..

The only thing I didn't like about the CCI Velocitor and the CCI Stinger is that they run a little hot--you can feel the recoil vibrate through the polymer receiver. They may be better at longer ranges but for the most part, everything was generally consistent in a 0.5"-1.5" group (except for the American Eagle). The Vortex Sparc is a red dot that comes with a 2x magnifier, so not much magnification there.

CheaperThanDirt has the PMC Sidewinder for cheap - 4.4¢ per round + shipping.

Looks like Winchester is getting on the tactical 22LR band wagon as well .

Not old news to me. Weird it says it's 40gr 1255fps plated lead round nose ammo....their 200 Year Anniversary .22LR is also 40gr 1255fps in plated lead round nose - http://www.winchester.com/library/ne...ire-Round.aspx, which I fired two weeks ago (ref the target above in my previous post, bottom right corner bulls eye). Looks like they are just repackaging their 200 Year Anniversary.commemorative round.

I'll be interested if it performs well and has a low cost.

For the 200 year anniversary ammo, it was $27.99+tax at Dick's Sporting Goods for 500 (I think it was 500, would have to go check the box, but I checked the receipt for the price). I would expect something along those lines.

cabelas has cci tactical on sale this week for $17.99 a box at the CT store. also this place has them for 20.11 a box, i believe if you get like 4+ boxes you will do well on price even after shipping.

They're actually selling these things at a local shop here.

Don't know where you got a 325 round box??? The one I just got couple days ago is 375 Round box. Did you look at your wrong or do they make two different size boxes???
