Default free float handguard

I am just starting the paperwork for a Gemtech OutbackIID suppressor. Going to be using it on several firearms. Two of which are a M&P 15-22 rifle and pistol. I want to extend the handguard on the pistol a few extra inches around the suppressor. I have two options and hence my questions to you all.
Has anyone used the Tacticool handguard converter nut yet? Measuring the current free float quad rail on my 5.56 gun it is a bit larger than the M&P 15-22. Only a small amount, but it wont end up as a single plane continuous rail. The handguard will step up from the receiver about 1/6". So is there a quad rail AR handguard that does match the M&P 15-22?
OR.... If someone has changed over their rifle with the converter nut, do they have the original S&W polymer rifle handguard they would be willing to sell me. A rifle handguard should work out just perfect to extend my pistol.

Thanks all
Stickbug
