Suggestions for M&P 15-22P Scope
I picked up Pistol and want to put scope, and before I buy wrong scope and won't be happy I come to you S&W family.
What would you recommend for me to buy, I use it for target practice at the range.
I would also like to see pictures of the scope installed to see what it looks like and hear about performance.
If you added anything to the gun, and think it's worth mentioning, lets here from you.
I hope to hear from you.

I'd suggest a red dot as opposed to an acutal pistol scope.

I was thinking the same red or green dot, have one I use for S&W22P, and very happy, but was interested what everybody uses.

I have had good luck using a red dot on my S&W 22A up to 50 yards.
With a 15-22P,you should have excellent results..

I just read the new issue of Custom Combat Handguns and had to send my Glock 21 slide off to have it milled to accept a Red-Dot immediately (LOL) after seeing several guns with this mod. I'm thinking of going Leupold Delta Point ($$$) or maybe a Burris Fast Fire ($). Here's a picture of one on a Glock:
And yes... I will have to have the slide milled and drilled like the picture to make it into a proper gun. LOL

I'd get a Primary Arms Micro dot or a BSA Edge 2X.

Red dot on a pistol, the smallest, lightest one you can find.. Since you have to shoot this like a pistol and can't have a vertical fore-grip on it... (unless you do the appropriate BATFE paperwork).
