Looks like an MP15-22, but whats with that mark/groove on the barrel about a 1/2" back from the flash suppressor?
I don't remember seeing anything like that on the suppressor equipped barrel I used to have.

Now we just need heat seaking, or programmable to recognize enemy combatants by sensing traces of residue left over from weapons firing, bullets and were all set. Or... how about bullets that detect movement and differentiate between combatants and non-combatants, you fire into a general area and the bullets self correct their flight path and target the movement if its an enemy combatant.

"The device - which uses the same motion sensor technology as in the Nintendo Wii"
Funny; for as much grief as videogames get, the tech is used quite often. "COD"-style training games, Wii-inspired sniper gadgets. I remember reading (probably just rumors) that Saddam was stocking up on old playstations because the circuitry and processing power inside was enough to be re-worked into mobile SCUD launching devices.

I think that's for attaching a grenade launcher.

Like the bullets from Who Framed Roger Rabbit. Just tell them to hit the guys carrying the AKs, and sit back and watch.
