15-22 Pistols?
Just wondering how many of you guys out there own or have gotten a chance to shoot the pistol version of our gun?
I gotta say after seeing Lubell's picture of his, I'm starting to really want one!
My biggest question is what kind of accuracy is it capable of? I'm sure it's plenty of fun to shoot but for my purposes would it be reasonable to expect it could be decent 20 yard plinker/squirrel shooter with a red dot or something on top?
Ofcourse it's not gonna be up to par with the rifle version but how much better if any than the average .22 pistol?
I could really see the fun in carrying it on casual hikes...especially with the Thompson Machine Zephyr XL I just ordered

Mine is every bit as accurate as my K22. Add a cheap laser and it will hit where the dot is (as mentioned). I second the motion for the Hogue grip - watch out for the springs in the grip when you take it off or you will spend an hour or so crawling on the floor...
At 20yd with a single point sling I was able to keep 23 of 25 rounds in a 5" group - and I'm not a very good marksman.

I sighted my brides in at 25 yds. We shoot clay birds all day long at that distance. Just ordered a M4 from PA. Right now it has a Truglo red dot and NcStar green laser, what a great little gun to shoot. Since those pics we added a Ergo grip from PA.

Pure sexiness. Can't think of anything else for the price that looks this good! As I mentioned earlier I have a suppressor on the way...unfortunately it will probably be 90 days minimum till I take possession. Can only imagine how good the combo would look, much less the fun factor!

I too am waiting for a Gemtech for on my 15-22 twins. For the pistol I am going to order a new rifle hand guard and trim it down to cover all but the last inch of the suppressor. Sort of an integrated look.

Outback II? I was planning on getting the same cuz I know a guy who is a rep for them but the new model is currently on backorder and decided against the wait and extra money...
Was interested in the Tac65 sup but my friend (also runs an tac school) has had some bad experiences with the individual baffle design seizing up after a few thousand rounds.
You might want to take a look at the Thompson Machine suppressors, they have a good reputation from from what i've read/heard and the price is more than reasonable

Looks amazing Lullbel! Btw I saw you live in plantation huh? Not too far from me in west palm. We should head out and do some shooting sometime when I'm in town if you'd want... The guy I'm picking the sup up from is located in pompano so that be a fun first test run on the way back home if the date/time worked out. Think about loosening up that flash hider in the next 90 days anyways just in case

Be careful what you hang on the rails of that mini handguard. If its not already, your flirting dangerously close to a BATFE "AOW" with that bipod.

Egads!!!
Okay, it's gone. I knew not to put a vfg on it. No point risking getting arrested for ignorance.

One thing that kind of irritates me is that S&W doesn't make one single mention about "check batf rules before installing....". or leave the bottom rail off so no one is tempted. It just begs for things like a VFG or bi-pod.
Oh well, I'll get over it....there I'm over it.

Aha!
Ruger 22 Charger Rimfire Pistol Models
I don't believe there will be an issue with the bi-pod. However, using one of the integrated VFG/bi-pod is a no-no.

Hahaha... I'm still with u on this though, should be A LOT bigger. And maybe shiny colors too attract the attention of some of us who just can't wait shoot/mod it
Btw tho I just took the upper and lower of my 1522 apart for the first time... And all I could imagine is strapping a pistol upper on top!!! Lol This is probably one big reason why I should not allow myself own one.
Can someone make me happy and post a pic of their "friends" 15-22 rifle pistol combo tho please?? I'm dying to see the results

While I like a 10" barrel on a SBR, that just looks way too short and wrong IMO.
The 15-22 Pistol by itself (no stock) looks good already.

I have agree I too like the look of the pistol by it's self better compared to as shown but I think it would look a lot better with the stock extended. More so than the look i love the idea and the...really coming up on the word right now but let's say agility of the bull pup design. Shoulder mount and nothing extra up front, this combo reminds me of an mp5 or p90
Emkcuf, thanks for the pic!

I tried searching and couldn't locate anything. I figured you could go into your "My Ebay" and post the link to the finished auction. That way I could bookmark the seller.

[/ATTACH]I'd like to see the 15-22p with a folding stock. SBR'ed of course. Add a suppressor and extend the rail another 4 inches. Maybe this one made by AGP.

It's just odd that I've never seen that one before.. Surprised he's not a member here. Looks very nice!
In looking at the owner of the video that was posted, the user name is very similar to our very own emkcuf.
As Freud would say... Interwesting.....

Yep, without the correct paperwork, you could have an extended stay at the Graybar Hotel.
