Laser/Light combos

I can not really comment on the unit, however I would suggest prior to buying I would roam around this sight, there are some very good vendors here and you would be assured good service & support from them if you don't like the item etc,,,,, something you can not get from unknowns over at bay, again look around here prior to buying, at least you will know what you are buying and from whom, just a suggestion, be safe:). I have found rrages to be very good to purchase from.

I don't have that one, but I do have a red/green laser combo. I see the one you're lookin at has a red laser and those don't work well at all when it's light out/sunny. It's really only good for dark. The viridian green lasers can be seen in daylight easily and at night is so bright it can actually be a solid beam. It's sweet lookin for sure, but better suited for daytime.

If you're just lookin for a night-time device, the one you're lookin at would probably fit the bill.

Also consider that if you plan on putting it on the side of your rails instead of the bottom, it'll limit your hard case options and if you mount it on the bottom rail, it will limit your foregrip options and positions.

this is the one I have
Amazon.com: Red and Green Laser with Universal Rifle Barrel Mount/Pressure Switch: Sports & Outdoors

It's fairly large, but it mounts to the barrel and doesn't take up any rail-estate (hehehe, I just came up with that one, lol), and doesn't mess with my Magpul AFG (foregrip) and doesn't stop me from closing my hard-case.

Also, the link I showed above doesn't have the barrel mount, it's mis-labled, but shown to show what I have.

Thanks for the response VooDuu. I have the Magpul afg and would be mounting whatever I get to the left outer rail of my gun like you suggested. Ill probably go with the ebay one. Thanks!

If you have an Academy Sports around, they have one almost exactly like ebay, but 29.99. I would shop around some before buying because they can be found cheaper. I love how they put M&P 15-22 on it and think they can charge more.

I can't comment about that unit, although it does look nice. I do know a bit about flashlights and 200 lumens is a lot (especially for that amount of money). The only thing I would want to know is: does it use those C123 lithium cells, or two AA batteries?? I get all my lights with AA batts as finding and paying for the lithiums is somewhat of a pain. Also, the seller has 100% rating, so that is good. I would look around a little, but I like it for the price and might spring for it for my shotgun. Good luck.
