They're well built and stay secure on the Barrel. Make sure to periodically check it for tightness, before you fire your rifle. I've got one on my Beretta CX4.

Cheers!

They look like they are painted. Great pics and video. You have to go into their secure store to purchase and find out what shipping will be.

I think I paid $56 shipped.

They are powder coated. The finish is extremely durable and resistant to scratching.

for those that dont know "moerse lekker" is an afrikaans (south africa) term for "damn nice"

had a chuckle when i saw it, the words dont appear in any other language, not to mention that combination/saying.

I just ordered the 15/22 Barrel Shroud/regular ventilated (with holes) from Moerse Lekker on Sun. 6/19/11 for a total cost of $55.00. This is far cheaper than having the barrel threaded, plus the looks of this ventilated shroud looks really sweet! Should have it by the end of the week.

Just received the Moerse Lekker barrel shroud today (6/23/11), wow! This is one sweet looking add-on, alot cheaper than having barrel threaded. This Barrel Shroud is very well made & was easy to install (fit like a glove). I used just 1 dab of blue
Lok-Tite on the set screw, so I should be good to go :D

I have had one on my Beretta CX4 storm for a few years. It is a great product and I have had no issues with it at all. Just check tightness after everytime you shoot and you should be good to go.

Just picked a Moerse Lekker barrel shroud for my MP15-22 up a few days ago for my non-threaded barrel (thank you, People's State of New Jersey). It was one of the few non-threaded shrouds out there that fits the entire length of the exposed barrel (beyond the rails) without having to remove/adjust the barrel cap (something I was loathe to do, as there seems to be debate on whether or not this affects accuracy).

Order was confirmed within minutes, shipped the same day (a Friday), and was in my mailbox Monday. A quality piece that slipped on perfectly & was secured with one brass set screw. Gives the rifle a much more aggressive look:

Will be shooting with it this weekend, will update...

Look for it here:

Congrats on your purchase. Don't let the shroud touch the hand guard end cap because it will affect consistancy. The barrel is free floating from the barrel nut, so removing the hand guard end cap is a non issue, but anything touching the barrel can be.
