Default S&W 15-22

Hi I got a question for the people out there! I need help! I recently came across a m&p15-22 for $190 and purchased it and the only big issue I have with it is that it’s the pink camo addition and I really want to change the color! Is there a way to remove the pink camo pattern from it??

Google “removing hydro dip.” Looks like you’d have to break down the entire rifle. For $190 id just rattle can it.

I bought one of the purple camo jobs and gave it a shot of Duracoat. Been shooting it every week for three years and it still looks new. Sure, you have to disassemble the lower but that's no big deal on an AR platform. On the upper, if you want to leave the barrel blued, slide a piece of PVC pipe over the barrel and spray away.
Krylon will probably wear pretty well if the gun if properly prepped. That should include numerous wipe-downs with lacquer thinner or acetone.
