need a recommendation for a grip for larger hands
Hey all -
I understand that our 22's were built to cater to all sorts - kids, adults, etc... but the stock grip is waaay to small around.
I was looking online and noticed that it's hard to see what size circumference these grips are.
Ideally, I'm looking for:
- NO finger grooves or channels (or whatever they're called)
- Larger circumference for larger hands
- Storage compartment would be nice (batteries etc)
- Something that won't break the bank (<$40 would be ideal)...
any suggestions?

Magpul is popular and seems to fit the bill:
RIFLE GRIPS - MIADŽ Grip Kit – AR15/M16
That one in particular has different options for sizing.
I also dig these two, they seem more 'beefy' & under $40:

Anything that will fit the standard M16/M4 should work on the M&P15-22.
I've preferred the olde M16A1 pistol grip for years and have it on all my rifles.

I use a Command Arms UPG-16. It features interchangeable backstraps and forestraps that are sorta rubbery for better grip, and it comes with three different backs and fronts. I use this grip on all of my ARs, including my 15-22.

I have the magpul Miad with the full size insert and I love how the thicker grip feels on my hand, also If you got the Miad and use the wide insert youll need the wedge that is sold seperate to make the detent spring seat properlly and to make it look better.

+1 for the MIAD. It's a perfect fit for everyone.
I didn't get the wedge though. I used the end of a toothpick to get the spring to seat. The conical end fits inside the spring, and the flat side sits inside the grip. Do you have any pics with the wedge installed?

here is a pic of the wedge in action, not the greatest pic but you get the idea.
