Since it is Black Friday, I thought that I would look for some deals on triggers to replace the stock one on my M&P 15/22. Is this the small pin or large pin? Do some work or fit better than others? I have polished and fooled with mine, but would prefer one that is adjustable and is an upgrade to stock.
I have searched here and could not find a consensus.
Thanks

Chip McCormick drop in....Don't know pin size of your .22, but I believe they make small and large pin models. I debated for some time on spending that much money, but I absolutely love mine. Was a very good decision for me.

+1 on the Chip McCormick drop in. I love mine! This was the single most beneficial upgrade I've made to this rifle. I enjoy shooting it that much more. With the correct ammo, this trigger made my 15-22 a sub 1" rifle at 50 yds, and about a 1.5" rifle at 100yds.

BTW - small pin.

The 15-22 uses a small pin receiver (.154"). I have a Rock River 2-stage in my AR15 and if I ever change out the trigger in my 15-22 it will be to one of those. Just a great trigger and not too expensive.

Thanks....Brownells had them on sale for 159. They also had an extra 10% off for orders over 200. I added a case of CCI subsonics and the deal is done. Thanks

The M&P15-22 has standard pins. Large pins are a freak of some early Colt AR-15 models when they had all sorts of non-standard parts, blocks, and screws. No one else ever used them.

Sweet, I paid more than that am still happy.

I think you will be very happy with this trigger set-up. I paid around $225 for mine, but they are in demand by the LEO's in my neck of the woods. Subsonics? Sounds like suppressor fodder to me...........:)

Let's just say that the ATF and I are on a first name basis...15/22's run like a top with a can attached:)

Most awesome Nic Cage line:

"Let me guess, this has nothing to do with alcohol or tobacco."

cmc trigger

put chip mccormick in my s&w ar15=22 and the pins are too short to go through the receiver to install the eclips. just an observation. the trigger works fine and 3.5#

I'm assuming nothing because the ones that are in the mp now are also short and sunk into the lower.

The pins being a bit short are really only a cosmetic thing. The pins should still remain in place. If you are really concerned, you can always get the KNS anti-walk pins that have screws that keep them in. I believe they would fit.

Geissele SSA at Midway USA for $170 - $15 coupon.

I'm looking at this one too. It is on sale at midway for $170, so I don't think the coupon will apply. It does come with a nifty hat tho!

I have the geiselle trigger on my Rainer Arms 223 AR. Now i dont have loads of experience but i love the trigger so far with about 1200 rounds. It is truly an icicle snapping is my best description. I have been trying to talk myself out of getting one for the mp15-22 but i am getting very weak and i am sure by spring it will have one or it will get the transfer down for the 223.
