Default Follow up on CCI tactical complaint ... :)

In one of my threads last month I was complaining about CCI tactical ammo, because it refused to load correctly in my rifle. I called CCI and complained .. They emailed me a shipping label, and I returned the open box, plus one unopened box, and a copy of my Gander Mountain receipt to them on the 29th. I got an email on the 8th explaining that the bullets were out of spec. due to a manufacturing problem, and they were sending me some replacements. Well last night I got THREE brand new boxes of ammo. I went to the outdoor range today and ripped through almost 500 rounds with ZERO problems. Just wanted to let everyone know. I purchased the last two boxes at Gander Mountain in Ashland, Va. on the 16th of Feb. I should have written down the lot number, but if anyone is having problems you could probably do the same.

Thanks for the update. It's good to know that
A) CCI tactical runs good the 15-22
and
B) CCI customer service made good on your problem

Lately i have been using cci blazer, i bought some because they were on sale at dunhams and to my suprise they are to put it mildly GREAT, they are dependable, accurate and fairly clean, much better than federal 550 pack from wallmart [not function wise but accuracy wise because the feds do function perfectly]try them while they are still on sale, pghrich

I agree with this. CCI Blazer is a great .22 ammo. The only gun I had that didn't like it was a GSG 522. I sold it because it was too picky on ammo for my tastes. Plus the 15-22 is a superior gun in every way.

Ditto, I found a store in San Bruno Calif. that sold it, OVER THE COUNTER. I live in Concord Calif. no store had them, you had to order them on line and pay at least $14 to $19 on shippment (that's the cost of another box). After shooting this CCI Tactical and comparing it to the Winchester 333, Federal 525 and the other CCI bulk lead nose rounds, I will now only purhase CCI Tactical forever, it is clean burning and I had ZERO FTF and ZERO FTE. Also no more flyers (caused by loose bullets in the casing like Winchesters). This ammo rocks and I went back and purhased three more boxes.

If you members haven't tried the CCI Tactical, try it, it is the best round for the M&P 15/22 period.
