Default Help with moe grip?

I need your help fellas? I was switching out my black moe Magpul grip and I noticed a grey spring to the right and a blue one to the left my question is a small copper looking pin came out but don't know where it came from and where goes back into the gun please help?

If I'm not mistaken, that could be for the detent to either the safety lever or the rear take down pin

It is the detent for the safety lever, the grip holds the bottom of the spring. You have to slowly take the grip off and watch for this. Just put it back brass first, then spring.... It will be alright...

So your saying that the pin goes in first into the grip then the spring? Thanks by the way.

This is the detent for the takedown pin (the other one is for the selector):



The springs are also different, but I forget which is which right now.

Some aftermarket grips will not properly secure the takedown pin spring in the M&P15-22. It's different than the M16's.
