That's in US $ (for the time being...)
Having a helluva time getting hold of 25 round mags here though; my dealer has had some on order for the past 6 months with no joy yet. I can get 10 round mags easy enough through Midway UK, but no 25's.
Crazy really - high cap mags are ITAR restricted so difficult to get from the US (and illegal in California), but there're no restrictions at all on mag capacity in the UK... it's just so difficult getting hold of the damn things!

I see Tacticools charging handle, but not the Plinker Tactical (brand) charging handle.
What brand did you buy?
Thanks

What Tacticool sells IS the Plinker Tactical as far as I can see. The name was covered up on the original photos, now it isn't shown free standing.
What's interesting is Tacticool seems to be the only one selling them. The other retailer has flagged their page with a not available notice.

Yes, it is the Plinker Tactical brand. And so far I am their #1 seller. You won't get better customer service or parts anywhere else.
I decided to carry Plinker Tactical because their quality matches what I expect and they are in the U.S. as well.

I guess I'm just not seeing it on Tacticools website........
The only charging handle I see is not Plinker Tactical, it has a different latch.

Cool product. No extra wear issues running an aluminum handle in the polymer upper?

No problems at all. The handles are smooth and anodized so there is no wear. If they were sand blasted or had a cheaper surface finish, then there might be a problem after about 10,000 chargings.

Any better pricing on the plinker model? $62 is pretty steep. Or maybe a discount code?

GunSource originally had them listed for $46, then dropped it to $39 and then removed the price altogether and now says it's not available.
Maybe TactiCool22 got an exclusive distribution contract.

To be honest, i think its VERY worth the original asking price just due to the latch and the more solid feel. I have had a few FTF of some junk Winchester ammo and slide the hand down the upper receiver, not even aiming at the handle, hits the handle and off we go to the next round, thats priceless.

The only difference is the left extended latch has a bend in it now.

I really like mine and have put almost 500 rounds through my 15-22 since I got it.
I only have one little issue. After a particularly long day at the range doing some magazine exchange drills, I noticed that the pads of my right index finger were a bit raw from the top edge of the "T". I took a look at the charging handle of my Colt AR-15 and saw that the top edge was considerably rounder when compared to the Plinker product. I'll probably file it down to a rounded edge and make it that much more user friendly.

Okay! Did the little mod on the PLINKER charge handle edge and I have to say that it definitely decreases discomfort and fatigue.
Here are a couple of pics of what I did. It didn't take too much to make a significant difference. This may be able to be reproduced in manufacturing with a simple bead blast on the top edge.
Thoughts?

It has been addressed. It would be a simple change to a larger corner rounding end mill. I am a fan of round edges and smooth lines.
There is an AR charging handle that has a bunch af grooves machined into the face where your fingers grab to pull it back. It is a positive grip surface, but you don't want to pull back a lot.
After the first time you load a round, why do you use the charging handle again?
I can see that you would unload the rifle if you didn't use the magazine completely, or if you were done hunting.

I got my NDZ charging handle installed and LOVE IT....price was right on point too.
By the way, NDZ has the picture on their site but you can't "buy it now" or "add to cart."
Call them and they will send you one. It's just not listed yet.

Is the handle causing any kind of "wear" to the plastic parts of the gun it comes in contact with? Also can you get it without the little picture on them?
Post some pics if you can.

I'll post pics when I get home.
Doesn't appear to be hurting anything, but I've only put 1000 rounds through rifle since installing.
Also, you have to remember that this thing does not cycle every time you shoot.....it only gets used to clear a jam or to release bolt without pressing release button. I might use it 5 times in a 500 round session......

Here's some ****** iPhone pics......Got "Zombie Hunter" and an American flag to go with the theme of this build....hydro-dip coming soon.
The color is a perfect match, which is what drove me AWAY from the Plinker model. This one matches perfectly and the finish and craftsmanship is top notch. Nice work NDZ.

What drove you away from the Plinker model color? It shows up horribly in my pics, but in person, its a perfect match to the Smith color...

From what I have read, the color is bad. Somewhere in this thread (found it, post #41), so I went with the NDZ and couldn't be happier. Wasn't going to take the gamble that the color was off.
If yours is fine, then cool!

Just an observation ...
The NDZ charging handle is sold without a latch. You need to install your old stock plastic latch or buy NDZ's latch. The combination is only $2 and change cheaper than the Plinker Tactical model from TactiCool, and the latch from NDZ is not ambidextrous.

Spoke with Plinker Tactical last night. They will be offering a charging handle soon that does not have the exotic latch. I look forward to this.

The Plinker Tactical handle matches the black of the 15-22 perfectly. It must have been a bad picture.
If the other charging handle is so great, make a new thread about it.

Join the club. If I hear ITAR Restricted ONE MORE TIME!!!!!!!
And the best part is I can get many ITAR restricted things from local shops, I'd just like to avoid the 100% markup many things have.

What is this twitter and facebook you speak of?
Just kidding, I'm not a caveman. However, I have neither so I'll just keep checking in (and probably miss the boat).

Even if you miss the boat another one will come along.
You can check under the Misc. page I won't put a link because I am in the seller forum too and the admins don't like sellers posting in multiple places.
I can't blame them.

I know this is off the subject, but NDZ has a version of the BAD now, just posted on their web site. It's called the SBR, I just ordered it for $26 and $2.99 for shipping. I didn't want to get the BAD and bend it, I just wanted one built directly for the M&P.. NDZ makes some very good products. So heads up...
