Quick sling attachment point question...
Hey guys, I'm setting my rifle up for 2-gun IDPA comps and am leaning towards the Magpul MS3 Multi Mission Sling System.
Will the Magpul ASAP Ambidextrous Sling Attachment Point fit onto my MOE M&P 15-22? I hope that's not as silly as it sounds (both parts parts being Magpul and all), but to me it just doesn't appear to be keyed the same as the tube on my stock.
Thanks!

as you pointed out, it isn't keyed the same. no it won't fit. doesn't the moe have integrated sling attachments on both sides? all of the other adapters i've seen are similar to the built in ones.

Okay, now that I've regained some composure after that earlier bit of silliness, can anyone recommend an excellent, failure free, precision tolerance push-button detachable sling swivel?
There seem to be quite a few on the market and I know some have to be better than others.
Thanks!

for $15 - $20 tango down/daniel defense, and I'm sure every quality accessory brand has one. I've seen quality ones with no name for $10 - $30 in stores. best would be to find a store that has a couple and check them out in person.

I've tried a few different brands, and I like the GG&G QD swivels the most. They are beefy, and the button works better than the others I've tried. If you ever want to transiton to single point (if your sling has hooks or clamps), the angular swivel for the rear is a nice option. Stay away from the imported BS. They either pop out of the sockets from bad machining or a poorly designed push button (not recessed enough).

Thanks a lot, gopher! I ordered the angled version. I like the looks of it over the regular 1-1/4" sling swivel.
