Stocks & Grips
Hi Guys & Gals, just wondering what stocks and grips from the huge Magpul selection fit properly on the MP15-22?
I was interested in buying a (Magpul PTS ACS) (Adaptive Combat Carbine Stock)
As i like the idea of locking the stock down to avoid the wobble.
I am just not sure if it fits the Smith? Cheers Paul

You will need the mil spec one as the M&P's buffer tube is a mil spec diameter

Any milspec collapsible buttstock will work. If all you want is the friction lock, check out the CTR as it has one and is cheaper than the ACS.
Pretty much all AR15 pistol grips will work, but a couple will cause problems because they won't hold the rear takedown pin spring and detent in place because this is not held in by the grip on a standard AR15. The only grip I know of off hand that is finicky is the MIAD. All other popular choices work just fine.

Hi Guys thanks for a quick response, so only milspec will fit so does that rule out all Airsoft kit? How can you tell if this model "Magpul PTS ACS" is Mil Spec please? Cheers Paul

The airsoft/pts stuff does not use the milspec/commercial sizing, so I am not sure what size you would need. Someone else may know.
Any buttstock should tell you what size receiver extension it will fit on. Look for milspec if you go for real AR15 stuff.

The MAID grip works fine. You just need a little JB Weld and be a little bit smarter than the grip.
I have one on my 15-22. No issues...

If it says PTS, it's airsoft parts. Practical Training Systems.
