I too fell under the spell of the M&P22 its a nice little pistol, I recommend the Blackhawk size 5 holster for it, if you haven't gotten one yet.

Congratulations on the new acquisition. I also have the M&P 22 (and the Sig Mosquito) and the M&P 22 is one of if not my favorite pistol (even more then my HK P30 & FNX-9).
It's a great gun, fires anything, is accurate, and inexpensive to shoot.
Have fun.
Aloha.....

I've put over 1000 rounds of Federal Bulk and CCI Mini Mag through mine w/o any problems. The more I shoot it the better it gets!

Congrats!
Anything is better than a Sig Mosquito.
.22lr rimfire is the most fun a man can have for $20 since incurable VD hit our shores.

I had to order them from Smith & Wesson and it took over two months to get them because they were on backorder. You probably will have to just suck it up and order them and be prepared for the wait.

I love mine. It's a perfect companion to my SD9. I was surprise at how accurate and dependable it is. And to think I almost bought a Sig Mosquito!

M&P 22 Mags
I too had been looking for M&P 22 magazines ever since I bought the semi-auto back in January. Finally found them at a gun store in Haubstadt, Indiana, just north of Evansville. The name of the store is "Right to Bear Arms" and is located on Hwy 41. Google it and you will find the contact information. He had 6 of the 12 round ones when I entered the store, but only 4 remained when I left. Paid about $35 each, but when you can't find them anywhere, the price is secondary. I will add that I have already ran thousands of Walmart Federal bulk pack .22LRs through the M&P without one misfire, FTE, FTF. Great shooting semi. Would highly recommend it.

I just got my 2 extra magazines from S&W yesterday. They came as 10rd magazines but you just remove the butt plate and the aluminum limiter and voila a 12rd magazine is born. Load, shoot, repeat
