Default need scope input.

so i pick up my 15-22 tomorrow and i am looking for a decent scope. nothing crazy expensive and i really like the look of this one. mind you this is going to be for indoor range mostly and once in a while i'll take it to the out door range .

Tru TG8370B Red Dot R&G Dot D/c Mt

let me know what you think if you have used it or if there is a better option.

Thanks

Usually a scope provides some magnafication while a red dot (either closed tube or open tube like you mentioned) does not.

If you are wanting a scope, the typical rule of thumb is 1X magnification for every 25 yards distance to the target.

What is the max distance of your indoor range?

I use a walmart 43mm green/ red dot. I dig it too. $45 bones, holds zero right where you set it. But as stated, these are not "scopes"

for a scope i recommend the center point 3x9-32 R/G for $50-60 you can't go wrong. If you want a red dot: BSA, NcStar, Truglo for $30-60. Like stated above it depends on where and how far you will do most of your shooting. Indoors, go with the red dot. Outside, 50+ yrd, go with a scope.
