Default Trigger pin polishing

I've received numerous PM's regarding the trigger job "how to" I posted.

It seems you all have had fabulous success and I thank you all for the kind words. The "speed hammer" mod has been your most liked mod and has been "flawless" for you all.

But, one question I get is regarding the trigger pin polishing and its related hammer and trigger pin holes.

Q: If I polish the trigger pin will it walk its way out of its bore?
A: Possibly. I mean, anythings possible. Just remember that "polishing" means to polish, not to remove material. If you adhere to this process you should be fine. You only want to polish the "mating" surface of the pin.

Q: How do I polish the hammer and trigger pin holes?
A: Use a string or a pipe cleaner to polish the hole. Apply some "Flitz" to the tool of your choice and polish the hole by running the string or pipe cleaner back and forth until the desired effect is achieved.

Stay safe out there and God bless.

Forget all that and just buy a set of the KNS locking trigger pins. That is what serious multigun shooters do. They make an AR15-22 specific set these days. Works just as good as the set in my 3-gun AR.
