is that the bi metal cased stuff like their 9mm? filthy ammo.....great deal on price, don't get me wrong, but last time i used the bigger calibers it is quite dirty. don't really matter i guess with .22 as it is filthy to begin with! Good find.

I've not used anything but Federal bulk from Walmart since I got my rifle and I've wanted to try Blazers. Just ordered two boxes.
Great deal - thank you!

22LR has no metal jacket. I find blazers to run just as dirty as Federal bulk from Walmart, so it's not so bad.

I didn't even check for mags there, dammit. I just ordered 4 from 44mag this MORNING~!! Gonna try and cancel that one and add 5 mags to my order at PSA!!
I have to pay sales tax at PSA, but I'd rather support a local and get fast shipping than get from 44mag.com

Thanks for sharing. I had been putting off ordering a lower parts kit from them for a while. Free shipping is enough incentive to do it.
Just ordered a LPK, 6 boxes of bulk blazer, 3 boxes of mini-mag and 3 15-22 magazines.

I live near Columbia, in SC, and the new Palmetto Armory is only 5 miles away. They do have good ammo prices, but guns there are higher than any other place I know of. They've got the MOE I want, but I refuse to pay their price. They offered 10% off, and it would still be $30 more than where I intend to buy it.

Last year I put nearly 50K rounds of various .22 LR downrange. This is not the same stuff as the CCI Blazer 500 brick which is know to be good stuff.
There is an extremely good post on the differences in "lookalike" CCI Blazer bulk ammo on the Lakeside Machine Forums. I can't re-post the entire notice but there is some repackaging going around.
The LM thread focuses more on the differences in the bullet design but I have noticed that the kind mentioned in this thread definitely leads to severe leading faster and I won't buy it.
It is worth registering to read to avoid the 525 problematic Blazer ammo.

The 500 and 525 are the same. It really is a crapshoot whether you will be getting the CCI or Federal made rounds when you buy either size package. Some people claim that you can tell the difference by the lot numbers but who knows.
My Buckmark will eat the CCI stuff but hates the Federal. My P22 is the opposite. Luckily, my M&P 15-22 hasn't had problems with any ammo that I have tried.
I have noticed that the Blazer (not sure if it is the CCI or Federal) with the waxier coating produces less smoke and lead build up.

At that price I couldn't resist a few more thousand. Just what I need, my floors are already sagging. But thanks for the heads up. It won't go bad or expire in my household.

Wish Palmetto did this when I had no bills I have to pay off my snowboard setup & my new revolver. I'm planning a $300 order with them with 1,500 rounds of ammo when I'm not broke and the free shipping could have helped. I could have sworn I bought the same ammo at $16 on a non-sale day over at my local shop. $16 is a great price but I must resist.

I put a order in for magazines, got a comfirmation email but later when I checked my order, it said that I have not placed a order. This was about a 6 hour difference in time. Check bank and no money was taken out either. So something is wrong like being over flooded with orders or something. Also that comfirmation email said their hours are 9am-5pm est time, monday-friday. So no chance of finding out whats up, till monday. Just thought I would let people know.

Thanks PapaBear!!!
I gave you a 'like' for this post. I appreciate the tip and I bought three bricks.
My target rifles love this ammo, I don't know why. The really expensive .22 ammo they don't shoot as well as the Blazer ammo. Oh well, good for my wallet!!

Thank you for this post. PSA is right across the river from me and I had no idea they were selling CCI AR Tactical w/ no tax and free shipping.
Score on 10K rounds! That should keep me busy for a month.

Hey strobro32, is that company reliable? Reason I ask is I got a few emails from them regarding my order and the last one seems a bit weird. It says something in the lines of, "I'm also weary of online orders." Has a smiley face at the end too. Thought it was kind of strange for a customer service rep to say something like that . Thank you.

Palmetto is pretty awesome. Fair pricing and amazing sales($50 stripped lowers? Yes, please!). They have gotten really popular, kind of more than they can handle as I've heard shipping times can be a bit slow sometimes. I've ordered ammo from them once and it got here no prob. Plan on getting my lower parts kit there & 1,500 rounds from them.

I was just notified this morning of a complication with my order. I might have my first problem with PSA. I guess we'll see how good their CS is.
