ALMOST BOUGHT ONE TODAY..
Went to the SGK gunshow at VA Beach, VA this afternoon and one of the dealers had the 15-22 for $399. It was at least $50 cheaper than any of the other dealers there. I just couldn't talk the wife into it. Oh, she liked it, but said not today, would have to wait till after our vacation...but that day will come, looking forward to picking one up...nice looking rifle...

I paid $500 for mine at a LGS but can go back to see them 7 days a week.
You should have bought it; most likely will not find that price again unless it is used.

If it was the standard 15-22 (SKU 811030) you can get them at gun shows around here (Dallas, TX) under $400 every weekend. Buds has it for $400 with free shipping and no tax.
Personally I went with the MOE and paid $489 at Kyle's Gunshop, again with free shipping and no tax. I couldn't find one in stock locally. Great service and very fast shipping.
However you get it, whichever model and whatever you pay, they're worth it and great cheap fun (when you consider the ammo cost).

Jeeez, what a deal on the MOE. I think I got the best price on it locally: $500 haha. I don't see as many crazy deals on firearms as I do from online shops out of state.

Which model was it? That's a great price for the basic with flash hider, the 811033.
I paid 379 plus shipping for my 15-22A1 through my base Rod & Gun Club.

I've found that half price works out okay for most items. High enough to be substantial, low enough to (usually) stay out of trouble. ;-)
