I just ordered some mags from Midway...if you order more than 1, there is no $3 "handling fee". $36 delivered. Unfortunately I missed the sale and don't have the patience to wait on another sale to save $2-$3. Here is what I found while trying to find the cheapest place to order mags.
Midway- $15.99 each, $5.48 shipping for 2.
Slims-$14.08 each, $17.05 shipping for 2.
Gun and Gear Store-$15.99 each, $6.99 shipping for 2.
44Mag.com-$18.99 each, $5.00 flat shipping
Promag (32rnd mag) $16.50 each, $10 flat shipping.

I'm new to the forum and I've been trying to find short 10 round magazines and all sites said they were out of stock, including Midway. I just found the at 44Mag.com web site and order two of them for 15.99 each.I thought others may be interested. Also at Target Sports USA for 16.99 Smith & Wesson M&P 15-22 Magazine 22 Short 10 Rounds

Have to say it again, fellows ...
44mag.com. I have never seen them out of stock and their standard $5/order almost always gets the mags to you within three days.

The 32 round ProMags that I ordered performed flawlessly in both a M&P15-22 and a M&P15-22P. FYI.

My problem with companies like Botach is that their ads border on fraud. They claim a regular price of $24.98 for the 25-round magazine. The real list price, as set by S&W is only $20.04. Their advertised "savings" of $7 is, in reality, only $2 over S&W's price.
Their "retail" price is phony.

I must not shoot fast enough.
I lose focus after about 15 rounds on a fully loaded 25-round mag. How you guys go through 32 and 50 round mags is pretty crazy.

Are you new to shooting?
I seldom shoot less than 500 rounds on a typical trip to the range. And then there's the centerfire stuff ...

I actually am. Well, I mean, I got started young at 5 or 6, but we'd maybe only go maybe 3-4 times a year, and it usually wasn't super heavy shooting.
Now that I'm 23, been done with school for a bit, got my house, and have some free time and spending money, the bug has bitten me relatively hard. Luckily I'm only interested in an AR in .22 and it hopefully won't break the bank to shoot a lot.

The 15-22 is a great fun gun and far cheaper to shoot than just about anything else. Now all the mods and additions available for it are another matter.
Welcome to the addiction.

try using a few different targets and changing between them during a mag. try doing double taps. try writing letters on the target. theres a ton of stuff you can do to change it up.
that or just buy another .22 toy like i just did and alternate between them.
