subsonic rounds that will work and cycle?

I'm sure you're aware that the manual recommends against using "Any and all sub-sonic brands and types", but want to try some anyhow?
Oh, and this is not just a "semi-auto weapon". In my competition pistols, I will shoot nothing BUT sub-sonic ammo. That doesn't mean it's right for my 15-22.

I have watched a few videos of people shooting those and they worked just fine. i have talked to many people who shoot those but i always forget to ask the brand.

Aguila subsonic 40grns worked in my mossberg an my buddy's marlin 60, so we tried the 60 grain sniper subsonics.. they worked in the marlins.. amd worked sometimes in my mossberg.. it.tended.tl catch the spent shell between the bolt.amd the action housing when ejecting the tiny case

I just ran 225 rounds of CCI subsonics through mine this past weekend with no problems. These, with my Gem-Tech Outback IID was quieter than the kids with the Daisy Red Rider bb guns?

i've run cci subsonics, aguila sss, and remington ss. the remingtons were the quietest and the cci were most accurate. avoid winchester super x subsonics as i had lots of issues with double and tripple taps with single trigger pulls.

CCI standard velocity work just fine in my 15-22. They ar sub-sonic. I use them with my suppressor, but they work fine without the suppressor. However, Remington sub-sonics will not cycle in my 15-22. They also work just fine in my Ruger Mk II pistol with or without the suppressor.

have not had an issue yet with green box remington subsonic HPs and an AAC Pilot II. whisper quiet, just bolt sounds. i had done a minor fluff and buff and polished the feed ramp when i first got it though so that may have made a difference.
I have had a couple FTE's with those rounds in my pistols with a can, but not many.

All I can find around here is the Remington green box subsonic.
38 grain H.P. only had one problem when trying to do a fast mag dump, a FT feed. other than that no problem. just wish I could find them cheaper than $3.50 per fifty, I am just cheap

In order to get mine to run with Aguila .22lr Super Extra Subsonic and surpressed (YHM Mite)I had to snip 3-4 turns off of the bolt spring.
Hope I didnt do anything "bad".

I run Remington sub sonics in all my suppressed semi auto rifles.
Cycles fine even without the can.

PSA: For those of you that think Sub Sonic is quiet without a suppressor, you're going to be disapointed.
All sub sonic is, is a round loaded to not break the sound barrier when using a suppressor, and hence not have a supersonic "crack" when leaving the suppressor.
If you shoot a subsonic out of a rifle without a can, it sounds just as loud as a regular .22.

I have found CCI subsonics(hollow points) to be the most consistent and a bit cleaner.
I have used Remington subs, Aguila super Extra(38 grain in the yellow and blue box)and RWS subs in my guns.
My 15-22 has reliably cycled all of them with and without my can mounted.
If you are looking for lower noise shells without a can all you can do is use some of the lowest powder loaded shells(CCI CBs) or (Aguila colibri) primer only. Will NOT cycle the bolt on any gun but They are quiet and great for close range, but thats about it.

Did some testing with ammo on hand last year. The only sub-sonic I had was the Remington. I didn't have any issues with cycling.
