best mock suppressor

I like Spike's Tactical's, I like them so much I have them on 3 of my guns. I have no real need for a real suppressor, but I do like the look of them.They are pretty reasonable priced and I have no complaints on the fit and finish on any of the ones I have. And they come in a couple of differant sizes to choose from.
 
If you have the threaded barrel they have one on sale that might fit it for $25 the others are only about $40
 
Best is very subjective. I have my opinion of course.
Do you like the extra length look
or the integrally suppressed look / Barrel shroud
Does your rifle have a flash hider? That can make the difference about who can supply what you want.

The only one I can think of is adding muzzle weight without adding length. I grew up shooting 10-22's with heavy bull barrels so the CAR1 feels right.

wow....if there's a good waste of money...a fake suppressor has to be one..

why not just suck it up and get a real can if you want one? The NFA process is extremely easy...and wait times are coming down very quickly with the new contractors on site.

.22lr cans are extremely cheap...and you also mitigate the embarrassment of walking around with a fake one....this isn't airsoft....
 
to each his own I guess...a decent suppressor is gonna run you upwards of $400-800 + $200 for the stamp. While I agree the filing a form 4 is fairly straight forward, the process is anything but fast. Putting one on my ST M4, absolutely…..putting a “real” one on my M&P 15-22….I’d rather spend $40 for the look personally; it's quiet enough already...

BTW, I don't want one. I like my 15-22 to run like it's suppose to with all sorts of ammo. I could care less about what others think. It's my rifle and I built it how I wanted it.

I don't understand people's need to criticize the choices of others. Just mean in my book.
 
Really, the fake suppressor is no more fake than the 15-22 itself. It LOOKS like a high-power, military centerfire rifle, but it's just a .22.

Now, don't get me wrong, I love my MOE, one of the reason I like it is its looks, after all. And I know some get it so that it's a familiar shoot to their CF AR-15, but that's not always the only reason. A friend recently bought a H&K .22, which already has a fake suppressor on it. He loves the looks, I can't stand it, but to each their own.

But let's not pretend that looks doesn't matter, okay? :-)

You can get get a .22 suppressor for $200-$350.
True, the wait time is at 6 months now, but I like to apply for the stamps and forget about them.

Contrary to what you are saying, I think a .22 suppressor is much more rewarding than a 5.56 suppressor for a few reasons.

1.You're going to use it more often, because the ammo is so cheap.
2. It's super fun to use at the range because it's as close to hollywood quiet as you're gonna get.
3. You can use it on a variety of hosts like all your .22 pistols and .22 rifles. All of which are usable at all indoor ranges. Not all indoor ranges let you fire centerfire rifles inside.
4. It's an investment that you can use on all future .22 firearms you decide to purchase in your lifetime. Can't say the same for a lot of the doodads you see people hanging off of 15-22's. lol

Personally, for $40...I'd buy an ambi safety or two bricks of .22 ammo.

After it's all said and done though, It's your gun and it's a free country. I've handled the spikes tactical car-1 shrouds and they look the nicest to me since they go back into the rail... ;)
