Default Which 15-22 model?

I currently have an mp 15-sport. I have it set up with a Vortex strikefire. I am thinking abotu getting a mp 15-22 that is simliar but am confused about the differences between some of the models. I know the moe has the magpul sights and stock but I am looking at getting either the standard (811030) or the A1 style comp (811033). Is the compenastor on the end the only difference between these 2 guns? What exactly does the compensator do (I know my 15 sport has one)?

To start with I will probably just shoot the 15-22 using the iron sights but might want to put a Vortex reddot on it some day. If I did will it cowitness with the stock iron sights? Can I replace the stock rear sight with a folding backpul sight down the road?

Get the moe.

Flash suppresser on .22 does nothing but look cool and give you the option to screw on a suppressor. on your ar-15, it hides helps get rid on the muzzle flash.

That's the deal. It'll also offer "some" muzzle protection in the event of s fall, etc.. It probably make the carbine look $25 better too.. JMO.. Ron

You can compare the two here...Smith & Wesson - Compare Products

I would get the A1 style, since it has the threaded Barrel. Yes that is the only difference.
