so my buddy jon's (trust8383) bday was yesterday and i had mentioned we should hit up the range to celebrate. he invited me to head down to the fraternal order of police range in st augustine where he's a member. i heard a lot of cool things but was pretty excited to check it out. so i met up with him and another friend, brian, and off we went. there were some nice custom ar's and i got to shoot a suppressed sbr, ksg, 1911 and a couple other pistols. there was even an air rifle we were sighting in for brian's dad. had a couple targets and some bowling pins for fun. it was right around sunset so we even got some practices with lights lol.

of course all 3 of us own 15-22s.

Sounds like a fun evening!!

definitely was. ksg was a cool gun to shoot even if it had a bit of a kick.

i also did some testing at 25 yds with fed bulk vs cci tactical - i ran 2 mags of each standing/hand held with my red dot. i didnt see a significant improvement in accuracy with the more expensive cci, possibly even a little tighter groupings with the federal. i probably should have done some bipod testing with my scope but was too caught up having fun.
