First off, thanks to CrazyFingers for posting up the patent application. I took the patent document and striped out the images and did some editing and added the known S&W Part Numbers. If anyone has any PN's not listed on this diagram PM me and I will update the document.

Thanks.

Now we just need a website where we can order spare parts online...

I know, I know , One step at a time.... :(

Any updates on where to get spare parts?
My firing pin is broken and I'd like to get a new one.

So, how did your 15-22 get to Finland?

Through an import company.
They seem to be unable to get any spare parts from S&W.

The import company's gun smith is, or so I've heard, gonna make me a new one.

But it would be nice to be able to get original parts.

Might have them make a couple for you.

Have a friend mail you one from their country.;)

long story short....Check the US ITAR regulations..... any company or individual without an "export license" or waiver caught sending weapon/gun parts overseas can be in violation of US federal law.

Google ITAR ... recently a leading retailer was hit with a big fine for selling/sending US red dot optics (Even thou parts are made in the PRC...go figure).

I suspect S&W doesn't want to deal ITAR for parts.

Best COA, have a Finnish gunsmith fabricate a couple of new firing pins.

Forewarned is foretold.

Aim small,

tat

PS. I'm in a profession of providing products and services outside of the USA and I work ITAR actions.

ITAR is a paint in the butt. And I honestly don't think it'll do SQUAT. All it is doing is preventing individual owners from buying things they want.

I'm fairly sure any decently connected insurgent group can buy what they want, regardless of ITAR.

If someone like the PRC really wants a part, they will go to the States, buy and ship it. The chances of catching them? Probably zero.
