Received my 45 Degree, Angled, back-up sights today.

After picking up the scope, I realized how much I missed having iron sights for that close stuff, but also realized how I didn't really want to take the scope on and off all the time, so started researching options for angled sights.

Ordered from Amazon. This was the $37 set. I wasn't too sure on the quality considering the price is much much cheaper than the "name brand" angled sights, but the reviews were good, so I took a chance.

The quality seems fine/good in hand, no issues with them, installed nice and snug, and seem like they will work fine...but...haven't shot with them yet, so no idea how they'll hold up.

I'll be sure to update this thread with results after my next range session.

Here's some eye candy!

I went with a more rearward mounting spot for my rear sight... They've worked well for me too.

Very Cool.

I had considered the angled sites but could not find a good price.

I will take a look at this set.

Thanks for sharing.

Nothing wrong with inexpensive if they work for what you want them to do. This looks a lot more usable than my putting the OEM irons on the side of the forearm. Dang brass popping up in my vision is irritating as the dickens and the sight radius is way too short for a rifle. Thanks for the information!

I bought two angled mounts from CTD and used the stock UTG sights on them. I was unsure if I would like the sights in this arrangement, but so far I'm really impressed. I think these mounts were about $9 each.

I purchased these 45° back up iron sightes from Amazon for about $45 4 months ago. They seemed to be well built and
installed in seconds. It took me around 10 shots to sight it in. I've put around 2000 through my rifle since installing the BUIS and it's still zeroed in.
I have a red dot on my 15-22 I could of put on some flip up BUIS but I liked the idea of the 45° sights ready to go just by twisting my rifle.

Just wondering if anyone has tried mounting a regular scope on the flip to side mounts for magnifiers? Ive never used one so not sure if they would hold zero or not but if they did a low profile red dot up front on the rails and best of both worlds..

Why not use a standard red dot and magnifier if that's what you want?

Won't hold zero. If you ever handle one, you'll understand.

You could mount a scope on the rail as usual and use an offset angle mount like what I used to mount a micro red dot. That setup is pretty common.
