Great job on this! Love that its a square mag, the curved factory mags aggravate me trying to store them. Put me in line when these become available.

If not ranger plates, they will probably fit the rubber tabs you can get.

It's been awhile since my last post. Awesome to see some cool stuff coming out for the 15-22. Thanks for taking the time and $$ to R&D a low profile hi-cap mag. Looks awesome. I'm going to keep checking back and when you get some available I'm totally down for a first run group buy!! I'm sure everyone will give good practical testing feedback too.

Thank all of you for the support and feedback I've been receiving lately. If I get enough orders for the first run I will definitely consider a Group Buy before I go to Distributors.

I'll second that... I really like the look of the mag... and the fact that it looks more like a 20 rounder.

Hypothetically speaking say these were 20 round mags, would you be making any 10rd limitation adaptor for some states that need it??? Like what Tacticool22 has for 25 round mags??

The ranger plates are nice when you shoot prone and rest off of the magazine. It gives you a nice flat surface.

Yes, I will have a limiter for the 10 rd mags. No need to pay for a seperate mold when its not needed.

ETA is not yet established. If everything goes as planned next month but I can't guarantee it due to mold pricing. I will let everyone know when the time comes.

I was told the same thing by several people that I need to push to get these out now before they pass a law limiting round capacity. I will be displeased to spend all this time and money on this mag and find out I can't go into production.

If there is any kind of federal magazine capacity ban, I can almost guarantee that it will be retroactive and possession of ANYTHING, NO MATTER WHEN MANUFACTURED, will be illegal.
The ONLY way Obama will get anything firearms-related into law will be by executive order, not by action of congress.

You have a point. Just hope the President does not make that decision period even if I wasn't designing my own.

Which I'm pretty sure is illegal and beyond the scope of what the real purpose of executive order is. But, perhaps he'll try, and end up executive ordering himself into impeachment...

To make all hi/normal-cap mags illegal regardless of date of manufacture would be making millions of new felons, instantly. Also, the government couldn't afford to compensate every gun owner for their hi/normal cap mags and simply taking them would be in violation of the 5th amendment. Executive order or not.

Cannot wait for these to be made available. I shoot off of a bipod and hate the 25 rounders because they hit the bench. If you have need for any more beta testers I would love to participate. Otherwise I'm in for several once they come to market.

DT,
Do the 15-22 community a favor and have the mag bodies and components cast in glass- filled nylon and not polycarbonate. Don't skimp on the quality please. Your contribution could be something special if materials last.
If they function well, I would be up to paying to have a few CNC milled out of Al.

I agree with you regarding a quality product. I dont like some of the magazines out there who just put together a design and sell it because they have a higher capacity. The only cost I'm attempting to cut is on injection molding. I will have 5 Beta testers before I start to sell them. I want them to pick it apart and tell me what they dont like about the magazine and what improvements are needed.
