I will contact those who will help beta test the Mags and other items in the works. For those over seas I'm waiting on approval from ATF due to ITAR Regulations. If I do not get the approval I can not send magazines outside US.

send part for part
We are a part of NATO, all for one and one for all
But too bad, i'm still very interested in these mags you are making, never really like the curve of the 15-22 mags, the slight curve of the AR15.

3 designs are complete. The only issue I have at the moment is injection molding. I sent out the designs to local companies waiting on the quotes to know which company I will deal with.

If you pull this off, I've a feeling you're going to sell a lot of these if the price is right! Once this gets going, do a 45 rd M&P 40 mag :-D

I haven't even shot my rifle yet and I want one or two. Way more compact than the factory mag and doesnt look like a " toy" magazine. Nice work!

And we all appreciate what you are doing and your contributions to the 15-22 and the forum. This forum has been both a great source of information as well as a great source of inspiration.

Sweet! I thought it might've been wishful thinking, but props for wanting to expand! I'll be the first in line for both!

Beretta Nano would be a good one too. They should have taken a page from S&W Shield and had a good supply of accessories. Nano mag extensions have been promised since Oct. to no avail.

I get not wanting to leak a proprietary idea but can you at least say “double stack fifty round capacity” or something to quiet the storm?!?!?!? You know you already have most of our credit card numbers and cash!!! Throw a dog a bone!!!

Late?
As often occurs, I saw this post well after it had been in place. I would very much like an opportunity to Beta test the magazine. I can give you input from someone who has beta tested several other items in the past (all firearm related), and provided a comprehensive feedback on each item. I will also have the unique opportunity to test it in three ways some others may not have. 1) Using a Timney trigger, 2) using semi-auto as well as the SlideFire attachment which would show feeding issues if they exist during rapid fire, and 3) using a suppressor which as you know can create back pressure and of course using various combinations of the above variations so you can get a lot of info from one Beta Tester.
Please contact me if I can be a part of an exciting opportunity such as this.
My email is: esea2000 (at) yahoo.com
Thanks
eseaton

I loaded a many mag, so doing something is probably not the problem. If I do not the time to insure that each and every round is place in the mag the round will not align properly and cause the previous round stack against the other. Standing two rounds up and binding together inside the mag. It takes for ever to load a mag. I'm up for suggestions, I only know one way to load a mag.

Has the design of this new magazine taken into account ease of loading, and possibly even being able to incorporate a speed loader of some sort?

Injection molding is an easy process as long as you have the molds which are very expensive. You are going to need to sell thousands just to cover the cost. I sure hope you will not be discouraged and can pull this off. I plan on doing my part to help you succeed and wish you the best of luck.

The 15-22 mag loads a tad differently than many others.
- Place the bottom of the magazine on a firm surface.
- Pull down the assist button with the thumb and forefinger enough to accept one round.
- insert one round then pull down the button a little more and inset another round.
- Takes me all of 60 seconds to load a 25-round magazine.
If you are trying to simply hold the mag in one hand and load with the other, that is probably your problem. Same deal if you are trying to pull the button all the way to the bottom and just dumping the rounds in. If so, that's guaranteed to not work!
Considering that my 8-year old grandson has no problem ...

By the way Doomsday, any chance of tacking on an all aluminum upper, with dust cover and forward assist?

If he could pull that off I suspect he'd be able to at least quadruple the millions he's already going to make from the sale of these mags giving people what they want hmmm he already has an edge over most company's. Thank you doomsday and I'll take an aluminium upper please with 12 mags
